About IndexLaunch

Who runs IndexLaunch, what it does and doesn't do, how the free indexing guides are researched, and how the site is funded.

Who runs IndexLaunch

IndexLaunch is built and run by one person, Manoj Kumar. It started as a fix for a personal problem: new pages sitting unindexed for weeks despite a clean sitemap and sensible internal links, with no simple way to tell search engines they existed. The submission queue, the multi-engine submission and the automatic refunds were all built in-house, and every support email is still read and answered by the same person.

Manoj is a web developer based in Faridabad, India, with more than five years of professional experience building and maintaining websites, mostly in Drupal (versions 8 to 11), PHP and Symfony, and decoupled front ends in Vue.js and Nuxt.

That work has meant a lot of time on the parts of a site that decide whether search engines can find it at all: migrations and upgrades, URL structures, sitemaps, rendering for JavaScript front ends, and performance. IndexLaunch and its guides grew out of solving those problems on real projects.

He holds a B.Tech from YMCA Institute of Engineering and Technology, Faridabad (2020).

What IndexLaunch does, and what it doesn't

IndexLaunch sends the URLs you submit to Bing, Yandex, Seznam and Naver through IndexNow, the open protocol those engines use to hear about new and changed pages. It then checks which of those URLs Google has indexed and shows the status of each one in your dashboard.

Google does not offer a general instant-submission API, so no service, including this one, can make Google index a page on demand. What IndexLaunch does for Google is tell you where each page stands, so you can fix what is actually blocking it. The free tools and guides exist for exactly that.

How the guides are written

The indexing guides are written from Google's and Bing's own documentation and from what the submission and index checks on this site actually show. They follow a few rules:

  • Statements about how search engines behave are based on the engines' published documentation, linked where it helps.
  • No made-up statistics, case studies or testimonials.
  • No promises that any tool can force or guarantee indexing.
  • Each guide shows when it was published and last updated, and is revised when the underlying documentation or tools change.

The free SEO tools (index, indexability, robots.txt, canonical, noindex and sitemap checkers) need no account and run the same checks the guides describe.

How the site is funded

IndexLaunch earns money in two ways: paid submission credits (see pricing) and display ads on the free guides and tools. Advertisers have no say over what the guides recommend, and guides never recommend a product because of an ad.
